First off I love the team play in the Battlefield Series, and this is a Battlefield game in most respects.
Pros
- Classic gameplay : medics defibbing, soldiers resupplying - great squad play, team play is rewarded. I feel our group will excel.
- Cool new gadgets like the tracer dart to "light up" enemy vehicles for launchers.
- Destruction - you can blow up walls, knock down trees, everything can be blown up it seems and its freaking cool!
- Great Graphics : everything looks great, weapons, buildings, blowing snow and smoke.
- I have yet to feel rage .... what I mean is, there has not been a time that my soldier has died and I yelled "NO WAY!" or "That guy is a hack!", which I do all to often when playing COD:MW2
- Not too run and gun. Us older guys need to have a slower game. Running and jumping like a chicken without its head will only get you killed in this game.
- Careful aim : with bullet drop you really have to aim to be successful at a distance.
- Balance : I really don't feel any weapon is overpowering, a few feel underpowered .... maybe C4 on the objectives is overpowered ... but they said it will be fixed.
Cons
I think most of these will be fixed on release
- Aiming feels a little sluggish
- Some weapons feel underpowered - I think its mostly hit box detection. Single shot weapons lke pistols feel overpowered and assault rifles feel underpowered. I don't think the game is registering all the bullets on automatic weapons.
- Joystick support isn't working yet Crying or Very sad . I can't fly my choppers yet
- Most friend and server functions are not working yet
- 1/2 the team wants to be snipers in a Rush game, and no one is taking objectives. I just put this down to the fact that most people are stupid and selfish. Thats why we will shine!

See you on the Battlefield!
