Battlefield 3 BETA is coming soon™ – DICE engineer
A female DICE engineer has teased in her Twitter account about the upcoming Battlefield 3 beta.
Whether or not “soon” described as sooner is still remains to be seen as the beta widely expected to hit the fans in September.
A lot of improvements have been expected for the beta after its revision from the alpha test trial which has been given to a limited sets of players.
BF3Blog described the feeling of the gameplay from the alpha impressions as “Feels more like Battlefield 2 than Bad Company 2.”
Here’s a tweet from Christina Ann Coffin, a Swedish DICE engineer who is responsible for the work behind Battlefield 3′s Frostbite Engine which powers the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC gaming platforms version:
Battlefield 3 is a first-person shooter action blockbuster-bound video game, being developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and to be published by Electronic Arts (EA).
The game is scheduled for a release on October 25, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and EA mobile confirmed a port for iOS platform such as iPhone and iPad.
Despite its name, it is the eleventh installment in the war infested Battlefield franchise, and the direct sequel to Battlefield 2, released in 2005
