Leeds United supporters named as worst offending football fans when travelling on trains
Fans of the Championship club have been caught up in more incidents onboard trains than any other English club, while Manchester United top the Premier League table
Leeds United supporters are officially the most troublesome football fans in the country, getting caught up in more incidents onboard trains than any other club.
Fans of Neil Redfearn's side were involved in 77 incidents dealt with by police on trains over the last two seasons - almost twice as much as any other team in the top two flights of English football.
The British Transport Police (BTP) figures, released in response to a Freedom of Information request sent by The Sun, show Manchester United to have the worst behaved supporters in the Premier League.<!--[endif]-->
Leeds United fans have been in more trouble than any other club in the past two years
Their fans were involved in 37 incidents, ahead of Manchester City (30), Sunderland (28) and Newcastle United (27).

The worst cases to have taken place on the railway network were four woundings and four cases of grievous bodily harm.
BTP said: "A small minority (of fans) engage in violence."
